From September 22 to 24, 2026, Perm will host the federal stage of the All-Russian Professional Skills Competition "Best by Profession" in the Welder nomination.
About 60 welders from all over Russia will come to compete for the high title.
 
Within the framework of the National Project "Cadres" and the Federal Project "Man of Labor", 25 federal stages of the All-Russian Professional Skills Competition "The Best in Profession" are held in the regions of Russia. For the second year in a row, Perm Krai became the venue for the Welder nomination.
The Perm Region has benefited from a large number of modern machine-building, metalworking and other industrial industries, as well as Perm's status as the birthplace of modern welding.
